The Leadership Position

At Global Industrial, the Chief of Staff is a high-visibility strategic business partner and thought leader that ensures the activities of diverse Business Functions are in alignment with our ACE (strategic) initiatives. The incumbent is responsible for prioritizing, streamlining, and supporting leadership level internal and external initiatives that have a very significant impact on the company’s business objectives.


In This Role You Will:

  • Acts as a strategic advisor to the CEO and Executive Leadership Team.
  • Acts as the liaison between CEO and other executives and stakeholders to ensure consistent communication, involvement, and decision-making/execution.
  • Facilitate the annual business planning process with CEO and C-Suite.
  • Support the CFO/CEO in annual budget creation by collaborating and gaining inputs from C-suite.
  • Develop the strategic initiative framework ACE (Accelerating the Customer Experience), with ownership, deliverables, and metrics
  • Support the CEO in the development of Executive goals and Company Scorecards
  • Collaborating with functional leaders, publishing/present scorecard results.
  • Own BOD meeting readiness with agenda build, planning, coordination, and professional presentations to support the agenda.
  • Actively support CEO in meetings, guiding participants to actionable items, ensuring ownership and execution.
  • Ensures timely and effective completion of projects and initiatives of the CEO.
  • Maintains accurate confidential files and data records.

Education and Experience Requirements

  • Master’s degree in business administration, finance, or a similar field.
  • 3+ years in a business or executive management role.
  • Track record of organizing and directing multiple teams and departments.
  • Highly experienced with Excel or Google Sheets for reporting and analytics.
