Key Responsibilities

  • Partners with manager to develop and execute strategies for their assigned business
  • Accountable for assigned Category P&L within the framework of their manager's and division's goals.
  • Maintains strong, effective relationships with cross-functional team and Vendors.
  • Execute with a high sense of urgency in a fast and agile environment
  • Data analytics skills to be able to mine data, understand the drivers of your business
  • Effectively works with cross-functional teams to execute business initiates through strong partnership and communication
  • Works closely with Cross-Functional team to execute current business tactics
  • Partners with Private Brand team for specific product needs, tactics and execution.
  • Manage supplier relationships and be able to operationalize suppliers on our platform and drive sales and profitability
  • Build strong, effective supplier partnerships to improve new product introductions and business terms.
  • Assist in identifying category trends and insights by evaluating competitive products, market share, pricing, advertising, and maintaining department databases with findings.
  • Takes initiative to become SME, curiously investigating and learning
  • Strong time management and organization of data and product information to ensure on time and accurate execution of plans

Competencies and skills

  •  Bachelor's degree and 1-2 years' experience in Product Management or related field
  •  Ability to work in a fast-paced, agile environment

  • Familiar with P&L and Accounting Terminology
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Maintain strong, effective internal and external relationships to drive innovation and product development.
  • Project management for all stages of product development
  • Manage costing, development and execution in alignment with master merchandising calendar
