Key Responsibilities

  • Field Sales Engagement

  • Oversee the daily sales operations of your assigned territory for Managed account engagement and New Business generation.
  • Build and foster strong customer relationships within your assigned territory.
  • Design strategies aimed at growing territory revenue by satisfying customer needs and special requests.
  • Leverage consumer research to maximize potential revenues and increase customer loyalty and ultimately spend.
  • Set, solicit, and attend on-site appointments within top accounts to expand and develop sales opportunities.
  • Utilize a variety of sales tools--CRM and analytics—to identify sales opportunities, potential, and strategies to maximize sales growth in your assigned territory
  • Prioritize tasks, navigate within the organization, and leverage subject matter experts to grow business opportunities.
  • Keep current with the competitor activities and industry changes that affect product sales.
  • Share strategies with the sales team on how to identify new customer opportunities and net new business.
  • Focus on sales potential within defined territory (roughly 50 mile radius of metro area).

Competencies and skills

  • Minimum 2- to 4-years sales experience.
  • Ability to work within a collaborative environment.
  • Proven knowledge and success working with a CRM.
  • Comfortability with being measured through monthly KPIs.
  • Business savvy with an eye toward calculating profit margins, gross profit, net income, etc.
  • Disciplined self-starter with strong work ethic.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Demonstrated success in achieving and exceeding sales goals and quotas.
  • Excellent oral/written communication, presentation, negotiation, organizational skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft applications including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
