Overview

Overview:  
Responsible for driving revenue-generating eProcurement activities through scalable, technology-enablement solutions that help support sales expectations. Create processes and sales strategies that enable speed to revenue. Act as an advocate internally by supporting and socializing the benefits of the e-procurement process. Oversee a team and partners cross-functionally to architect strategies that support sales initiatives, enhance customer experiences, streamline sales execution, and enable business growth

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership & Revenue Enablement

  • Define and execute the strategic roadmap for e-procurement services aligned with overall sales objectives.
  • Champion e-procurement as a core value proposition in enterprise and government sales opportunities.
  • Drive adoption and expansion of e-procurement platforms across target industries and customer segments.

Executive Sales Support & Enterprise Engagement

  • Serve as the e-procurement subject matter expert for high-value client engagements, RFPs, and strategic presentations.
  • Partner with customers to structure custom e-procurement solutions that address client-specific procurement needs.
  • Influence go-to-market strategies with insights from customer feedback, market trends, and competitive positioning.
 

Operational Insight

Operational Oversight & Program Management

  • Lead, mentor, and scale the e-procurement team to deliver high-quality service and timely execution of integrations.
  • Oversee the lifecycle of e-procurement implementations, ensuring project success through strong stakeholder management.
  • Collaborate with IT, sales operations, and third-party partners to prioritize and resolve technical escalations. 

 Technology & Innovation Leadership 

  • Stay abreast of e-procurement technologies, tools, and best practices; recommend enhancements and automation opportunities.
  • Guide decisions on platform development, QA processes, and catalog/invoicing capabilities in coordination with IT. 

 Performance Measurement & Executive Reporting 

  • Establish, track, and report KPIs that reflect the performance and impact of e-procurement programs.
  • Deliver executive-level reporting and insights to the VP of Sales Operations and other stakeholders.
  • Drive continuous improvement through data-driven analysis of program performance and customer satisfaction

Competencies and skills

  • Customer facing representative and SME for Managed Sales Organization. 
  • Strong sales acumen: Proven track record of success in complex B2B sales within the software or technology sector.
  • Deep understanding of eProcurement: eProcurement systems, features, functionalities, and benefits for businesses.
  • Technical proficiency: Ability to understand and communicate technical concepts related to online procurement platforms.  
  • Customer-centric approach: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport and address customer needs.  
  • Strategic thinking: Capability to develop customized sales strategies aligned with client requirements and market dynamics.  
  • Presentation skills: Confidence in delivering compelling presentations to potential customers.  
  • Relationship management: Ability to nurture long-term client relationships and foster loyalty.
