Key Responsibilities

• Maintain a reporting cadence with business partners to guarantee reporting is accurate, complete, and timely
• Assist Sr. Director of Finance and CFO in leading annual Budget and Forecasting process with a focus on continuous improvement 
• Build, implement, and Maintain financial models and tools to support critical initiatives and support business decisions that support corporate strategy
• Communicate significant variances, trends, and financial projections effectively to management.
• Analyze financial data and activity-based trend data to create or support financial models, forecasts, operating budgets, reports, charts, tables, and other exhibits.
• Conduct regular meetings with business partners to report findings on current spend and variances to Budget
• Conduct cost analysis on vendor contracts, pricing strategies, and product margins to support business decisions.
• Create financial models and ad-hoc analyses to support business priorities and strategic initiatives.
• Work closely with Manager of Data for Finance team to create and maintain Power BI’s

Competencies and skills

• Required Education:  Bachelor's Degree
• Financial analysis, preferably in the wholesale, retail, or distribution industries.
• Field of study:  Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field.
• Strong Presentation skills and ability to communicate with senior leaders
• Excellent Verbal and written communication skills; the ability to summarize detailed information in a concise manner
• Experience with financial modeling and proficiency in Excel
• Work Experience: 3 - 5 years 

Preferences: (Preferred attributes for the position, if any)

• Strong quantitative and analytical competency.
• Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Power BI, Bex, Oracle) and financial reporting tools.
• Strong analytical and data gathering skills, including data validation techniques across large data sets.
• Comfortable in a fast-paced environment with frequent deadlines; high energy, self-motivated and proactive.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Strong collaborating skills, and an ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

 

The pay range for this position will be 74,000 to 89,000 annually. The exact pay will be determined by multiple factors unique to each individual, including years of experience, certifications, and the specific location of the job. Rates may vary in other areas due to differing labor costs.
