For over 70 years Global Industrial has been an industry leader providing private label and brand name industrial equipment and supplies to businesses throughout North America.

We carry over 1.7M industrial, material handling and business products that are sold through our website, corporate sales people and full color catalogs. We are constantly increasing our product offerings to meet the diverse and changing needs of our customers. Our customers include small to large corporations, institutions and government agencies as well as consumers

Key Responsibilities

•    Perform monthly, quarterly and annual reports from government surveys.
•    Manage the recurring journal entries with our general ledger software, SAP.
•    Prepare bank reconciliations utilizing the Accounting tools and resources.
•    Use Expense Management Technology to cross validate employee data.  
•    Assist cost center validation within SAP. 
•    Actively participate in the Actual to Plan Variance cash forecasting.
•    Collaborate and support Accounting Department on a daily basis

Competencies and skills

•    Rising Sophomore/ Junior pursuing major in Accounting, Finance or related field. 
•    Solid analytical skills and strong organizational skills.  
•    Ability to effectively communicate to all levels of the organization. 
•    Handle multiple activities simultaneously and ensure accurate and timely completion of tasks. 
•    Proficient user of Microsoft Office Tools: Excel and Word
