Key Responsibilities

•    Be the creative visionary of the company from a visual and voice standpoint by working directly with the marketing leadership team, executive management team, and other stakeholders.  Have a strong POV and creative vision along with a clear, concise ability to provide direction to internal and external partners.
•    Craft high-level creative briefs and presentation decks, along with sketches and comps that communicate concepts and campaigns.  Strive to create first-to-market ideas that raise the bar.
•    Create and implement tailored creative plans based on multi-channel marketing approach.
•    Direct brainstorming meetings and creative sessions.
•    Manage all internal and external creative resources, agencies, and freelancers.
•    Manage the creative process from concept to completion.
•    Drive consensus for campaigns by clearly articulating creative strategy and presenting concepts to peers and senior management.
•    Think across platforms, mastering the idiosyncrasies of each and create tailored content across channels that help drive marketing objectives.
•    Shape brand standards and create procedures to ensure all brand representation is consistent.
•    Supervise the creative daily workflow, assess project workload, and monitor deadlines and budgets. Establish a prioritization and governance system for enhanced workflow.
•    Review work, troubleshoot and provide feedback to creative teams.
•    Manage and cultivate the career development of staff members.
•    Provide the creative team clear communication and motivation to produce high-level creative solutions.
•    Research, ideate and test new & innovative content formats and emerging content channels to push boundaries and create talkability for the brand, in partnership with agencies & local partners/co-creators
•    Oversee the planning and publishing of content for local channels ensuring integration in messaging across touchpoints in partnership with media agency and in line with localized calendars and global approach.
•    Actively participate in global content team, seeking opportunities to search and spin in order to drive efficiencies and to drive engagement and passion in content marketing across the enterprise.
•    Drive high level concepting, tactical program ideation and polished design for a wide range of marketing outputs from short-form video and interactive mobile experiences to unexpected social content.
•    Develop seasonal creative solutions for new product launches based on the brief that differentiates the brand and excites the consumer.
•    Plan, execute and direct photo shoots to support campaigns.
•    Develop and maintain a process to fulfill the needs of the business for product related photography and video.
•    Develop and maintain design/brand standards throughout all touch points.
•    Responsible for meeting the deadlines of many projects running in parallel in a fast-paced environment while adhering to review and approval processes.
•    Comfortable implementing feedback in a timely fashion.
•    Demonstrate strong leadership and mentorship of team - project positivity, model collaborative behavior and develop the team to elevate and drive the brand feel.

Competencies and skills

•    Bachelor’s degree in art, graphic design, marketing, communications, journalism and other relevant fields.
•    Master’s Degree preferred.
•    10 years of related experience with creative direction in external agency or internal agency setting.
•    Agency experience a plus.
•    A minimum of 8 years of experience in both print and digital, particularly with, but not limited to web, social and emerging technologies.
•    Experience creating marketing/advertising campaign concept development, vision and messaging.
•    Portfolio of work required.
