Part Time - French Translator (1 year contract)

We are constantly increasing our product offerings to meet the diverse and changing needs of our customers. Our customers include small to large corporations, institutions, government agencies and consumers across North America.

Key Responsibilities

• Translate marketing materials from English to French, including web content, ecommerce pages, email campaigns, product descriptions, sales materials, and promotional assets.
• Review, validate, and quality-check French translations completed by external freelancers to ensure accuracy, clarity, and brand consistency
• Identify French website content that requires translation, updates, or improvement, and proactively translate or refine content as needed
• Ensure terminology, tone, and messaging are consistent across all French-language touchpoints
• Collaborate with marketing, ecommerce, and product teams to support content updates and campaign launches
• Maintain and evolve French search terms and translation standards for ecommerce sites and digital channels.

Competencies and skills

• Native or near-native French proficiency with strong English comprehension
• Proven experience translating marketing and digital content
• Experience or have background in industrial equipment, MRO, construction, warehousing, or related B2B industries
• Strong attention to detail and ability to translate technical and commercial content accurately
• Ability to manage multiple translation requests and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Experience supporting ecommerce or B2B websites
• Familiarity with SEO best practices for translated content
• Experience working with marketing teams or digital platforms
